DentArt was founded by Dr. Dean Lorrey with a clear and quietly ambitious vision: to build a dental clinic in Brisbane that patients would actually want to visit. Having spent years in academic and specialist practice, Dr. Lorrey had seen firsthand how clinical excellence alone wasn't enough — the environment, the communication, the feeling of being genuinely cared for mattered just as much as what happened in the chair. DentArt was his answer to that gap.

From the beginning, the focus was never on volume. It was on getting things right — building a small, carefully selected team of specialists who shared the same standard of care and the same belief that dentistry, done well, changes how people feel about themselves. Dr. Lorrey assembled that team one clinician at a time, each chosen as much for how they treat patients as for their clinical credentials.

Today, DentArt operates as Brisbane's only dedicated cosmetic and restorative dental boutique — a single location by deliberate choice. We've never had ambitions to expand across postcodes. Our ambition has always been to be the best version of one clinic: one where every patient is known by name, every treatment plan is genuinely personalised.

Over a decade in, that founding vision hasn't changed. What has changed is everything we're able to offer — the technology, the treatments, the team. But the reason we exist remains exactly what it was on the first day the doors opened.
